From the team behind Infinite Detail

We report on the tools.
Now we're building one.

Every Saturday we write about what one person can build now that they couldn't before. IDX is our labs. We're building the layer that connects those tools, so you can direct a world in plain language and ship it with the engine you already use.

What it does for you

Built for the people who read the radar: one person, or a few, with a world to build.

01

Say what the world needs.

Describe a place, a character or a rule in plain language. The layer turns it into work for your tools, and you stay the one deciding.

02

Keep the tools you already know.

Unity, Unreal, Godot, Blender, and the generators we cover every week. IDX connects them. It does not replace them.

03

Your world remembers.

Every decision goes into a canon the whole pipeline reads. New work arrives knowing where it belongs, and nothing contradicts what you already built.

Where it stands

Early, and honest about it.

The layer is in development. We test it on our own world, Saltmere, and we open it to small groups of creators as parts of it become useful. Early access means you get those parts first, you tell us what breaks, and you shape what comes next.

Early access

Tell us what you're building.

We read every one of these ourselves. Engine, team size and a line about your world is all we need to know whether we can help soon or later.
